Intel Extreme Masters with ARAM

Intel Extreme Masters 2014 is a mega-production associated with global e-sport.

On behalf of the  responsible for the show we did stage design and its execution, including logistics, and full technical support: lighting, multimedia and sound. The design concept of both stages was created in collaboration with the organizer. 

8'th World Final edition of the Intel Extreme Masters, took place in Katowice 14-16 March. The event, can certainly be called a key of events related to the global e-sports, while his extraordinary success say impressive numbers - 75 thousand. visitors and more than 8 million unique users following the games on the Internet.

List of equipment used in the production is so long that it would take too much time o list, but I can say that we used 12 trucks to carry them :)

Some key technology we used:

- New projectors from BARCO  HDX and HDF

- grandMA 2 Full-size and two grandMA Light consoler with 2 grandMA NPU processors

- Avolites Tiger Touch consoles

- Fourlight LED screens 6mm and 8mm with a total 120 sqm

- More than 1000m2 of prefabricated stage

- More than 200 moving heads, including the vast majority of brand ClayPaky and Fourlight

- More than 300 other conventional lighting devices

The fact that the project has been completed successfully is the perfect proof that a model of cooperation " from design to effect "is perfect for even the large scale productions!

It is worth mentioning that the IEM in 2014 included four stages. Let us add that for the implementation of lighting at all stages of answers implementers working permanently in Aram. Compete on stage accompanied by the exhibition of nearly twenty exhibitors, provide a technique where the stage belonged to our tasks.

Back to the New Year Eve...

We are extremely busy with many shows we do in 2014 and I forgot to write and post some pictures about New Years Eve stage we did just month ago :) So.:

Stage was equipped in latest Fourlight curtain including CURVE 8, Hi-strips and also our old but still in good condition LED GRID which was installed behind the squares. If you want to get more details about this show you can visit my Polish blog and of course translate by Google :)

Yes, this curtain in the center of stage is 8mm and it's still transparent !

 

CURVED LED 8mm without visible gaps ? It's possible!

Do you know that it is possible to build a high resolution LED screen with no visible gaps - an arc ..... curved both inside and outside?

This is the Fourlight CURVE 8mm . Curtain or LED screen - because it is a "2 in 1" can be curved and in both directions creating WAVY LED displays. So whether it will be ARC PANORAMA or CYLINDER (as shown below) - there is no limit for us!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

Warsaw's Eve Best in Europe

A giant stage filled entirely on multimedia and lighting stood on Constitution Square in Warsaw. It is worth mentioning that the slogan "The Greatest New Year's Eve in Europe," which promoted the event is not unreasonable - hardly any European city had just emerged stage, which can match the level of technology, even such events as Euro Vision gala. ARAM was a one of gear supplier for this venue.

 

Being many years in the event engineering industry I have seen a lot of New Year Eve sets abroad and I can say that this year in  Poland we had one of the best New Year Eve set I ever seen.

Giant dome stage was covered by LED GRID modules from Fourlight, for a total hang as many as 1,400 pieces, they all had to be combined into one big screen to be controller by three CATALYSTS media servers and Whole Hog 3.  On both sides stage was hanged a huge led screens and in floor was installed  180 modules of Fourlight LED FLOOR in star shape.

 

As a lighting gear was used few hundreds of  Vari Light jokes, JB Lighting A7 led jokes and for the first time in Poland was used latest Clay Packy Sharpy jokes. All controlled by two Hog’s 3.

The year 2009 behind us...

2009 changed the ARAM position on event engineering market.

Almost 1000m2 of different types of LED displays and the latest cutting-edge LED screens in SMD technology, more than 600m2 of different types of LED curtains, the latest projectors, 1000sqm of different kind projection screens, and professional lighting. It is also worth mentioning that we are still one and only FOG SCREEN gold partner in Poland.

In 2009 we were at the forefront of investment in new equipment to offer such items as the latest led screens, water curtains and a full line of image processing systems from BARCO. It is impossible not to mention the people, which creates professional team of technicians, as confirmed by many customers.

Dynamic, sexy and… wet!

Dynamic, sexy and… wet! This is the way the new video ‘Intoxicated’ by Relanium presents. The project was carried out in cooperation with Danny S and Miss Laila.
Short, fast changing shots by Artur Szyman made it look very energetic and dynamic; sexy because of the singer – main character of the video; and wet… due to our Water Courtain appeared, visible in most of the captures.



What distinguishes this video clip from all the others shots in similar electro-house style is an extremely spectacular technical solution - water courtain. Keep in mind that it has 9 meters width and Full H2O resolution!

Laser beam or pictures from projector can be displayed due to 3 rows of nozzles providing thick and regular water surface. Closed water circuit system enable using this solution at any desired place.

Because of applying water curtain in such project, many unique shots and extraordinary possibilities could be made. Advantages of using this technique weren’t new for producer and light designer, who invited us to join recordings taken place in Hollywood studio in Warsaw.
Proverbial icing on the cake were visualizations appearing in the background of water surface. Such an effect was achieved by using LED curtain, precisely 20 sqm of Fourlight LED Grid. Fourlight LED Grid is a well known product widely applied on TV productions, concerts and events.RM
